MaKaBo Refund Policy – What You Need to Know

At Makabo, we aim to keep your experience smooth, secure, and satisfying — whether you’re listing a home-cooked tiffin service, running a job ad, or promoting your local business.

We keep our fees low and transparent, but if something doesn’t go as planned, here’s how refunds work on Makabo.net.


💸 What Can You Be Charged For?

Makabo is free for most individual users.

However, fees may apply for:

  • Premium Ad Upgrades (e.g., featured listing, homepage promotion)

  • Business Promotions

  • Subscription Packages for verified vendors or service providers

These payments help you reach more local users and boost visibility.


🔁 Can You Get a Refund?

We only issue refunds under the following conditions:

✅ 1. Double Payment by Mistake

If you accidentally paid twice for the same service (e.g., due to refresh or browser error), you are eligible for a 100% refund of the duplicate charge.

What to do:
Email us at support@makabo.net with your transaction ID and registered mobile/email.


✅ 2. Service Not Delivered

If you paid for a premium feature and:

  • Your listing wasn’t promoted as promised

  • The feature was not applied due to a technical issue

…you are eligible for a full or partial refund, depending on the extent of the issue.


❌ Refunds Are Not Issued For:

  • Change of mind after promotion is active

  • Poor response or zero leads (we cannot control buyer activity)

  • Mistaken category selection by user

  • Expired listings after full display period

  • Listings removed due to violation of Makabo’s Terms of Use


⏱️ How Long Do Refunds Take?

Once approved, refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to your original payment method.
